Samsung Galaxy Beam



New Samsung has launched MWC 2012 off in style basically introduction the New samsung Universe Stream, a new Operating system cellular phone that comes wearing a projector.

Expanding the possibilities of the cellular industry and the ever growing array of cellular phone features, the New samsung Universe Stream features an ultra-bright 15 lumens projector empowering customers to effortlessly discuss media articles with a number of friends.

"Galaxy Stream provides cellular independence, empowering a unique shared experience around electronic articles for everyone-anywhere and instantly-from a cellular phone as sleek and mobile as any available that you can buy," said JK Leg, Chief executive of IT & Mobile Marketing and sales communications Category at New samsung Gadgets.

Samsung Universe Stream Specs

Allowing customers to discuss pictures, movie and electronic articles in more extensive, team conditions, the Beam’s projector party piece has not added too much additional bulk to the mobile system with a 12.5mm wide form factor seeing the latest Universe named cellular phone line-up at a just 145.3g in weight.

On the standard cellular phone front side the Stream sports Google’s Operating system 2.3 Gingerbread OS with a 1GHz dual-core brand getting together with a 4-inch 800 x 480p WVGA TFT touchscreen display display screen and 8GB of internal storage extended up to 32GB via microSD card.

Bolstering the Beam’s projector amusement features, the new 4-inch cellular phone performs host to a 5-megapixel rear-mounted camera with incorporated flash and movie recording features as well as a second, 1.3-megapixel camera on the top side of it.

Although New samsung has yet to offer formal costs or release date information for the New samsung Universe Stream, it has been revealed the company has verified it will be reaching down on British shoreline in the coming months.

Toshiba Quickcharge Electric Bike


Using Toshiba's quick-charging lithium ion rechargeable battery, the power-assisted bike from Cannondale Sports Group LLC was exhibited at a New York auto exhibit. The bicycle can run about 20 to 30 miles per charge. It's set to release in North America and Europe on 2009. Because the ratio for the force for the motor and the legs is 1:1(meaning 50% by the machine and 50% by the legs), the bike will unlikely be released in Japan, where the maximum ratio of the motor force to legs is 2:1.

Samsung Bendable E-paper


Being exhibited here is Samsung's electronic paper display. As you can see it is very bendable, measuring at 14.3-inch and 0.3mm thick. It has a 1060 x 750 resolution. The display used carbon nanotubes (CNT) to prevent the e-paper to deteriorate after repeated bending.

Robo Plant


Oxygen. Moisture. The sweet smell. Used to be only real plant that can emit those. But now there's a new robotic plant developed by a robot research laboratory in Korea that can do these stuff just like real plants. At 130 cm in height and 40 cm in diameter, this plant reacts to environmental factors as well. Come close within 40 cm and the plant blooms towards that person. When it hears a voice, it shakes up. IF it hears music, it dances.

Vocal Joystick

University of Washington researchers have developed a software known as "Vocal Joystick" for controlling the mouse using your voice. Saying "ooo" Takes the cursor down, while saying "ahh" moves it to the upper right. They've specifically developed this to help disabled people. The Vocal Joystick software will need only a PC microphone to work. Several applications have been tested using the software, including video games and robotic arm operation.

Samsung S1 and S2 Mini External Hard Drives


Samsung is gearing up its hard drive porfolio with even smaller external drives. The S2 portable drive is 2.5 inch and comes in 160GB, 250GB, 320GB, and 500GB. The S1 mini is 1.8 inch and comes in 80GB, 120GB, and 160GB versions. Samsung used USB controllers to make their drives smaller.
